The Savings Deposit Certificate (SDC) consists of fixed-term capital deposits in financial institutions, whether banks or finance companies, placed for a specified term.
The return depends on the capital invested and the term decided; the higher these are, the higher the interest rate/profit in favor of the investor.
The CDAs are covered by the Deposit Guarantee Fund of the Central Bank of Paraguay up to 75 minimum salaries, equivalent to approximately G. 201,000,000.
